为培养合格的汉语教师，促进汉语国际推广和中国文化传播，孔子学院总部/国家汉办（以下简称汉办）设立孔子学院奖学金，委托孔子学院、独立设置的孔子课堂、海外部分汉语考试考点（以下简称推荐机构）推荐优秀学生和在职汉语教师到中国大学（以下简称接收院校）学习。
In order to support development of Confucius Institutes, facilitate Chinese language promotion and Chinese cultural transmission in the world, cultivate qualified Chinese language teachers and talented students of Chinese language, Confucius Institute Headquarters (Hanban) (hereinafter referred to as Hanban) launches the “Confucius Institute Scholarships” program for providing sponsorship to students, scholars and Chinese language teachers of other countries for pursuing a study in relevant universities in China (hereinafter referred to as “host institutions”).
非中国籍人士。身心健康，品学兼优。有志于从事汉语教育、教学及汉语国际推广相关工作。年龄为16-35周岁（统一以2018年9月1日计）。在职汉语教师放宽至45周岁，本科奖学金申请者一般不超过25周岁。
Application is open to applicant who owns a non-Chinese citizenship, aged between 16 and 35, in good health condition. Applicant currently working in a Chinese language teaching position shall not exceed the age limit of 45. Undergraduate student shall not exceed the age limit of 25.
一、奖学金类别及申请条件
1．汉语国际教育专业硕士
2018年9月入学，资助期限为2年。
具有大学本科学历。汉语考试成绩达到HSK（五级）210分以上、HSKK（中级）60分以上。提供毕业后拟任教机构工作协议或相关证明者优先。
I. Category & Eligibility
1.Scholarship for Master’s Degree in Teaching Chinese to Speakers of Other Languages (MTCSOL) Students
Enrollment starts in September 2018.This category provides a scholarship for 2 academic years. Applicants must possess a bachelor’s degree or its equivalent, a minimum score of 210 in HSK Test (Level 5)and a minimum score of 60 in HSKK Test (Intermediate Level). Applicant who is able to provide the employment agreement or certification upon completion of study from designated working institutions is preferred.
2．汉语国际教育本科
2018年9月入学，资助期限为4年。
具有高中学历。汉语考试成绩达到HSK（四级）210分以上、HSKK（中级）60分以上。
2.Scholarship for Bachelor’s Degree in Teaching Chinese to Speakers of Other Languages (BTCSOL)Students
Enrollment starts in September 2018.This category provides a scholarship for 4 academic years. Applicants must possess a high schooldegree or its equivalent, a minimum score of 210 in HSK Test (Level 4) and a minimum score of 60 in HSKK Test (Intermediate Level).
3．一学年研修生
2018年9月入学，资助期限为11个月。不录取在华留学生。
汉语考试成绩达到HSK（三级）270分以上，HSKK成绩60分以上。
3.Scholarship for One-Academic-Year Students
Enrollment starts in September 2018.This category provides a scholarship for 11 months. Applicants must not be in china at the time of applying. Applicant must have a minimum score of 270 in HSK Test (Level 3)anda minimum score of 60 in HSKK test (Beginner Level).
4．一学期研修生
2018年9月、2019年3月入学，资助期限为5个月。不录取护照上有X1、X2签证者。
汉语考试成绩达到HSK（三级）210分以上，HSKK成绩60分以上。
4. Scholarship for One-Semester Students
Enrollment starts in September 2018 or March 2019.This category provides a scholarship for 5 months. Applicants who already have X1 or X2 visa will be refused.
Applicant must have a minimum score of 210 in HSK Test (Level 3)and a minimum score of60 in HSKK test (Beginner Level).
5.关于汉语桥获奖者
在各类汉语桥比赛中获得2018年度“孔子学院奖学金证书”者，登录孔子学院奖学金网站，凭奖学金证书向目标接收院校提交申请材料。
5.For“Chinese Bridge”Prize Winners
For“Chinese Bridge” (Chinese Proficiency Competition for Foreign College Students) Prize Winners. Winners who have been awarded the 2018 “Confucius Institute Scholarship Certificate” can apply for admission according to the scholarship specified in the certificate.

二、孔子学院奖学金资助内容及标准
II Scholarship Coverage
孔子学院奖学金资助内容包括：学费、住宿费、生活费（四周研修生除外）和综合医疗保险费。
The Confucius Institute Scholarship provides full coverage on tuition fee, accommodation fee, living allowance (except four-week program students) and comprehensive medical insurance package.
1．我校为学生提供免费宿舍，一般为双人间。
We provide free hostel accommodation for Confucius Institute Scholarship students. Normally 2students stay in a room.
2．生活费由接收院校按月发放。本科生、一学年和一学期研修生标准为2500元人民币/月；汉语国际教育专业硕士生为3000元人民币/月。
Living allowance is granted on monthly basis. The allowance criteria per person is:
BTCSOL Students,One-Academic-Year Students, One-Semester Students: RMB 2,500 per month;
MTCSOLStudents: RMB 3,000 per month.
3．综合医疗保险费参照中国教育部来华留学有关规定执行，由接收院校统一购买。一学期研修生为400元人民币/人，一学年以上标准为800元人民币/年/人。
3.Comprehensive medical insurance is purchased in accordance with the relevant regulations for international students stipulated by the Ministry of Education of China. The insurance packages are as follows:
One-Semester Students- 400 per person,
One-Academic-Year Students and above - 800 per person yearly.
三、申请流程
III Application Procedure
(一)请所有申请者在2018年3月1日以后登录孔子学院奖学金网站，（cis.chinese.cn）注册、填写《孔子学院奖学金申请表》并提交有关证明材料电子扫描件:
For all applicants, please log on to the Confucius Institute Scholarships website (http://cis.chinese.cn) from March 1st 2018 to register. Complete the Confucius Institute Scholarships Application Form online and upload the scanned copies of relevant supporting documents:
与所有申请者有关的证明材料 For all applicants
(1) 护照照片页、一张护照空白页扫描件。
A scanned copy of the passport photo page and one blank page.
(2) HSK、HSKK成绩报告（有效期两年）扫描件。
HSK, HSKK score reports of no more than two years.
(3) 推荐机构负责人的推荐信。
Recommendation letter signed by the head of the recommending institutions.
与学历生有关的证明材料For degree scholarship program applicants
（1）提供最高学历证明（毕业预期证明）和在校学习成绩单。
Certification of the highest education diploma (or proof of expectedyear of graduation)and an official transcript.
（2）汉语国际教育专业硕士须提供两名副教授以上职称导师的推荐信。提供毕业后拟任教机构工作协议者优先资助。
Applicants for MTCSOL Scholarship are required to provide 2 reference letters either from professors or associate professors. Those who can provide an employment agreement or related documents from the designated teaching institution are preferred.
（3）在职汉语教师须附上就职机构出具的在职证明和推荐信。
Applicant who is currently working in a Chinese language teaching- related field shall provide an employment certification and reference letters from the agency.
（4）未满18周岁的申请者，须提交在华监护人署名的委托证明文件。
Applicants under the age of 18 shall submit relevant documents of entrusted legal guardians in China.
（二）推荐机构审核并推荐合格学生至我校。
Recommending institutions reviews materials and recommends applicants who meet the criteria to our university.
（三）我校审核材料并组织网络面试，择优预录取。
Our university reviews materials, interview applicants and pre-admits applicants on a competitive selection based process.
（四）国家汉办集中评审，择优资助。于入学前2个月完成奖学金评审工作，公布评审结果.
Hanban will conduct an overall assessment of all applications and admit applicants on the basis of competitive selection. Normally, the admission results will be announced 2 months before the term begins.
