一、学校概况
沈阳师范大学隶属辽宁省人民政府,始建于1951年,学校占地面积123万平方米,建筑面积95万平方米。现有全日制本科生20272人,硕士研究生3670人,长短期留学生1100人。设有26个二级学院和19个校属馆、部、中心、研究所及附属机构。

二、学院概况
国际教育学院作为沈阳师范大学来华留学教育管理部门,始建于1985年,与国际交流合作处(港澳台事务办公室、国际中文教育办公室)合署办公,具有接收中国政府奖学金和国际中文教师奖学金留学生资格,承担着留学生培养任务,设有HSK考试考点。学院现有建筑面积13951.9平方米,教学设备、生活设施非常完善。配有语音室,视听室,多媒体教室,活动室和阅览室。设有留学生公寓,房间内设施完善,配有电视机、电话、空调、冰箱、浴室及网络接口等。此外,还配置了共用厨房、洗衣间和中西餐结合、独具特色的外事餐厅。
国际教育学院拥有一支职称、学历、学缘、年龄结构优化的高水平师资队伍。现有专任教师26人,其中教授1人,副教授10人,具有博士学位(或博士在读)教师12人。6位教师担任汉语国际教育专业硕士研究生导师,1位教师入选辽宁省百千万人才工程,1位教师担任国家级重要专业学会常务理事。16位教师主持国家、省、市级科研或教研项目。
学院设有汉语言、汉语国际教育2个本科专业,现已形成从汉语言教学、中短期进修生教育到本科生、硕士生教育等完善的教育培养体系,形成“语言+文化+技能”相结合的培养模式。教学内容以汉语言为主,同时开设中国历史、对外经济贸易、中国民间艺术、太极拳、武术等众多课程。留学生HSK3-6级通过率较高,在各级各类比赛中成绩突出。培养优秀的汉学人才、促进中国与世界各个国的文化交流是国际教育学院的奋斗目标。自1985年起,共接收了来自亚洲、欧洲、非洲、美洲、大洋洲等80多个国家和地区10075余名不同层次的留学生。
近两年,在常态化疫情防控的背景下,国际教育学院开展线上线下混合式教学,为至今尚未来华学生提供线上课程。2020年以来,成功获批教育部中外语言交流合作中心“汉语桥”项目共11项,为海外学生提供丰富多彩的线上课程,广受好评。
三、奖学金概况
国际中文教师奖学金聚焦培养合格的海外中文教师。孔子学院、独立设置的课堂,部分汉语考试考点,外国相关教育机构、高校中文师范专业/中文院系、国外有关中文教学行业组织、中国驻使(领)馆等推荐机构可推荐优秀学生和在职中文教师到中国大学学习和进修汉语国际教育及相关专业,推荐机构详见http://cis.chinese.cn,申请者可以登录 http://cis.chinese.cn进行申请。
四、申请条件
招生对象为非中国籍人士,对华友好,无违法犯罪记录,遵守中国政府的律、违法犯罪记录,遵守中国政府的法律、法规和学校的规章制度,身心健康,品学兼优,有志于从事中文教育、教学及相关工作,年龄为 16-35周岁(统一以 2022年 9月 1日计)。在职中文教师放宽至 45 周岁,本科奖学金申请者一般不超过 25 周岁。

1.汉语国际教育专业硕士研究生(2022 年 9 月入学,资助期限为两年)
-具有大学本科学历。
-汉语考试成绩达到 HSK(五级)210 分、HSKK(中级)60 分。
-提供毕业后拟任教机构工作协议或相关证明者优先。
2.汉语国际教育专业本科生(2022 年 9 月入学,资助期限为4年)

六、申请时间及流程
2022 年 3 月1日-2022 年 5 月 10 日,申请者可登录国际中文教师奖学金报名网站(cis.chinese.cn)申请国际中文教师奖学金。
申请流程:
1.登录奖学金网站,查询推荐机构;
2.在线提交申请材料,关注申请进程、审核意见与奖学金评审结果;
3.奖学金获得者与我校确认办理来华留学手续,
4.在线打印获奖证书;
5.按我校录取通知规定的时间参加课程。
七、申请截止日期(以北京时间为准)
1.2022年7月入学:学生申请截止日期为 4月10日
2.2022年9月入学:学生申请截止日期为 5 月10日
3.2022年12月入学:学生申请截止日期为 9月10日
4.2023年3月入学:学生申请截止日期为11月10 日
中外语言交流合作中心委托专家组集中评审:根据 HSK、HSKK 考分和级别,兼顾国别等因素择优资助,于入学前约3个月完成奖学金评审工作,公布评审结果。
八、关于在职中文教师和汉语桥获奖者
1.在职中文教师
在职中文教师申请各类奖学金,可提供就职机构出具的在职证明和推荐信,免提交汉语水平考试(HSK)证书。
2.汉语桥获奖者
在各类汉语桥比赛中获得 2022 年度“国际中文教师奖学金证书”者,登录国际中文教师奖学金网站,凭奖学金证书向我校提交申请材料。
九、资助内容及标准
国际中文教师奖学金资助内容包括:学费、住宿费、生活费(四周研修生除外)和综合医疗保险费,奖学金线上项目仅支持学费。
1.我校为学生提供校内宿舍,一般为双人间。
2.生活费按月发放。本科生、一学年和一学期研修生标准为2500 元人民币/月;汉语国际教育专业硕士生为3000元/月。
3.综合医疗保险费参照中国教育部来华留学有关规定执行,由我校统一购买。
十、申请材料
(一)与所有申请者有关的证明材料
1.护照照片页扫描件。
2.HSK、HSKK 成绩报告(有效期两年)扫描件。
3.推荐机构负责人的推荐信。
(二)与学历生有关的证明材料
4.提供最高学历证明(毕业预期证明)和在校学习成绩单。
5.汉语国际教育专业硕士须提供两名副教授以上职称导师的推荐信。提供毕业后拟任教机构工作协议者优先资助。
(三)在职中文教师须附上就职机构出具的在职证明和推荐信。
(四)未满 18 周岁的申请者,须提交在华监护人署名的委托证明文件。
(五)申请者还须提供接收院校要求的其他证明材料。

Application Guide for International Chinese Language Teachers Scholarship of Shenyang Normal University in 2022
I. Brief introduction of Shenyang Normal University
Shenyang Normal University was established in 1951, which is directly administered by the People’s Government of Liaoning Province. The university covers an area of 1.23 million square meters with a building area of 0.95 million square meters. The university has 20,272 full-time undergraduates, 3670 graduate students and 1,100 short-term and long-term international students. There are 26 schools and 19 university-affiliated halls, departments, centers, research institutes and institutions at the university.
Adhering to the philosophy of open education and win-win cooperation, the university innovates mechanisms, improves quality and efficiency, and expands in-depth cooperation with world-class universities. At present, it has established friendly and cooperative relations with 158 universities and institutions in 32 countries and regions on five continents. At present, the university has 1 institution of Chinese-foreign cooperation in running schools, 1 program of Chinese-foreign cooperation in running schools and 4 joint doctoral programs with universities from the United States, Japan and other countries and regions. There are 3 overseas Confucius Institutes in Lebanon, Jordan and Ukraine and 1 Online Chinese Classroom in Pakistan. One international science and technology organization cooperation platform at ministerial level and 1 ministerial national and regional research center were constructed in the university. The university is the receiving unit for the overseas students who have been granted Chinese Government Scholarship and International Chinese Language Teachers Scholarship, the organizer of Foreign Aid Training of the Ministry of Commerce, the pre-job training unit of Chinese Language Teachers dispatched by the Center for Language Education and cooperation of the Ministry of Education, the vice chairman unit of the Foreign Students Management Branch of the Chinese Association of Higher Education, the vice chairman unit of the Liaoning Education Association for International Exchange, the chairman unit of Liaoning Provincial Association for International Education, Liaoning Provincial Demonstration University for International Students in China, vice chairman unit of Liaoning Provincial Confucius Institute Cooperative University Alliance, the receiving and sending unit of Foreign Affairs Exchange Personnel of Liaoning Provincial Government and Liaoning Provincial “Cross-Straits Undergraduates Exchange Base”.
II. Brief introduction of College of International Education
The College of International Education, as the administrative department of overseas education in Shenyang Normal University, was established in 1985. It is co-located with the Office of International Exchange and Cooperation, Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan Education Affairs Office and International Chinese Language Education Office. It is qualified to receive Chinese Government Scholarship and Chinese Language Teachers Scholarship for international students, and undertakes the training of international students. The college has a building area of 13951.9 square meters with excellent teaching equipment and living facilities. It equipped with language lab, audio-visual room, multimedia classroom, activity room and reading room. The apartment is equipped with a TV, telephone, air conditioner, refrigerator, bathroom and Internet connection, etc. In addition, it also equipped with shared kitchens, laundry rooms and there is a unique foreign affairs restaurant combining Chinese and Western food.
The CIE has a high-level teaching team with professional title and academic background. There are 26 full-time teachers, including 1 professor, 10 associate professors and 12 teachers with doctor’s degree (or studying for doctor’s degree). Six teachers are tutors for master’s students in the major of Teaching Chinese to Speakers of Other Languages, one teacher has been selected as one of the ten Million Talents Project of Liaoning Province, and one teacher is the executive director of an important national professional association. Sixteen teachers are in charge of national, provincial and municipal scientific research or teaching research projects.
The college has two undergraduate programs: Chinese Language and Teaching Chinese to Speakers of Other Languages. It has formed a comprehensive education and training system from Chinese language teaching, medium and short term education to undergraduate and master’s education, and has formed a training mode combining “language, culture and skills”. Chinese language is the main teaching content, while offering Chinese history, foreign economic and trade, Chinese folk art, Tai Chi, martial arts and many other courses. International students have a high pass rate of HSK3-6, and have made outstanding achievements in all kinds of competitions. It is the goal of CIE to cultivate outstanding sinology talents and promote cultural exchanges between China and other countries in the world. Since 1985, more than 10,075 students from more than 80 countries and regions in Asia, Europe, Africa, America and Oceania have been admitted.
In the past two years, in the context of the epidemic prevention and control, the College of International Education has carried out online and offline mixed teaching, providing online courses for students who have not yet come to China. Since 2020, the college has successfully approved 11 “Chinese Bridge” projects of Center for Language Education and Cooperation of the Ministry of Education, providing colorful online courses for overseas students, which has been widely praised.
III. Overview of the Scholarship
The International Chinese Language Teachers Scholarship (hereinafter referred to as the Scholarship) aims to facilitate Chinese language education in other countries. Confucius Institutes, independently operated Confucius Classrooms, certain HSK test centers, Chinese language (education) departments of foreign universities, professional associations for Chinese language instruction, Chinese embassies (consulates) abroad (hereinafter collectively referred to as “recommending institutions”) may recommend outstanding students and currently-employed Chinese language teachers for study of International Chinese Language Education or related majors at Chinese universities and colleges (hereinafter referred to as “host institutions”). The recommended institutions can be found at http://cis.chinese.cn, and applicants can apply at http://cis.chinese.cn.
IV. Application requirements
a) Non-Chinese citizens;
b) Should be friendly to China, have no criminal record, and abide by the laws and regulations of the Chinese government and the rules and regulations of the school;
c) In good physical and mental conditions, and with a good record of academic performance and conduct;
d) Aspiring to work in the Chinese language education and related fields;
e) Aged between16 and 35 (as of 1September, 2022), with the special allowance for the age limit of 45 for applicants currently working as Chinese language teachers and that of 25 for undergraduate student applicants.
V. Scholarship types and qulifications
a) Scholarship for Master’s Degree in Teaching Chinese to Speakers of Other Languages (MTCSOL)
The programme commences in September 2022 and provides scholarship for a maximum of two academic years. Applicants shall hold a Bachelor’s degree, and have a minimum score of 210 on the HSK Test (Level 5) as well as 60 on the HSKK test (Intermediate Level).
Priority will be given to applicants who may provide a work contract with a teaching institution upon completing their studies in China or a proof to the same effect.
b) Scholarship for Bachelor’s Degree in Teaching Chinese to Speakers of Other Languages (BTCSOL)
The programme commences in September 2022 and provides scholarship for a maximum of four academic years.

c) Scholarship for One-Academic-Year Study
The programme commences in September 2022, and provides scholarship for a maximum of eleven months. International students who have benefited from similar scholarships are not eligible.
For the area of TCSOL, applicants shall have a minimum score of 270 on the HSK test (Level 3), and an HSKK test score is required.
For the areas of Chinese Language and Literature, applicants shall have a minimum score of 180 on the HSK test (Level 4) and 60 on the HSKK test (Intermediate Level).
For the area of Chinese Language Study, applicants shall have a minimum score of 210 on the HSK test (Level 3). Priority will be given to applicants who provide an HSKK test score.
d) Scholarship for One-Semester Study
The programme commences either in September 2022 or March 2023, and provides scholarship of a maximum of five months. Applicants holding the X1 or X2 visa are not eligible.
For the areas of TCSOL, Chinese Language and Literature, applicants shall have a minimum score of 180 on the HSK test (Level 3), and an HSKK test score is required.
e) Scholarship for Four-Week Study
The programme commences either in July or December, 2022, and provides a four-week scholarship. Applicants holding the X1 or X2 visa are not eligible.
Applicants are required to provide HSK test scores. The programme may be organized and applied for by a recommending institution with 10-15 participants per group. Prior to the trip, a detailed study plan shall be made in consultation with ouruniversity.
f) Online Chinese Language Learning Programmes

VI. Application procedure
Online registration will be available from 1 March, 2022 to May 10 on the International Chinese Language Teachers Scholarship application website (cis.chinese.cn). Please log on to search for recommending institutions; upload application materials online; and track the application progress, comments and results. Scholarship holders need to confirm with the host institutions to go through the procedures of studying in China, print out the scholarship certificate online, and register at our university on the designated date as per the letter of admission.
VII. Application Deadlines (Beijing Time):
a) For programmes commencing in July, applicants must complete their applications before10 April.
b) For programmes commencing in September, applicants must complete their applications before 10 May.
c) For programmes commencing in December, applicants must complete their applications before 10 September.
d) For programmes commencing in March 2023, applicants must complete their applications before 10 November, 2022.
Decisions will be made based on HSK and HSKK scores and levels, and in consideration of country distribution as well as other factors. The results will be published about three months before school starts.
VIII. Policies Regarding Currently Employed Chinese Language Teachers and Chinese Bridge Award Recipients
a) Currently employed Chinese language teachers:
Currently employed Chinese language teachers applying for the scholarships can be exempted from submitting Chinese Language Proficiency Test (HSK) certificates if they can provide proof of employment and a letter of recommendation from the institution where they work.
b) Chinese Bridge Award Recipients:
Applicants who have won the 2022 International Chinese Language Teachers Scholarship Certificate in various Chinese Bridge competitions should submit their application documents along with their scholarship certificates to our university on the International Chinese Language Teachers Scholarship website.
IX. Coverage and Criteria for International Chinese Language Teachers Scholarship
The Scholarship provides full coverage on tuition fees, accommodation fees, living allowance (four-week study students excluded) and comprehensive medical insurance expenses. The scholarship online programmes only support tuition fees.
a) Our school provides students with the on-campus dormitories, usually for a double room.
b) Living allowance is granted by host institutions on a monthly basis. The monthly allowance for undergraduates, one-academic-year study students and one-semester students is 2,500 CNY per person. For MTCSOL students, the monthly allowance is 3,000 CNY per person.
c) Comprehensive medical insurance is purchased by the university in accordance with relevant regulations of studying in China stipulated by the Ministry of Education of China.
X. Application Documents
A. For all applicants:
a) A scanned copy of passport photo page;
b) A scanned copy of score reports of the HSK and HSKK tests (within the two-year validity);
c) A reference letter by the head of the recommending institutions.
B. For degree scholarship programme applicants:
a) A certification of the highest education diploma (or proof of expected graduation) and an official transcript;
b) Applicants of the Scholarship for MTCSOL students are required to provide 2 reference letters from professors or associate professors. Priority will be given to applicants who may provide a work contract with a teaching institution upon completing their studies in China or a proof to the same effect.
C. Applicants currently working as Chinese language teachers shall provide proof of employment as well as a reference letter by the employer.
D. Applicants under the age of 18 shall provide certified documents of designation signed by their entrusted legal guardians in China.
E. Applicants shall also provide additional documents required by the host institutions.
