2024年沈阳师范大学国际中文教师奖学金生招生简章

一、奖学金概况

国际中文教师奖学金聚焦培养合格的海外中文教师。孔子学院、独立设置的课堂，部分汉语考试考点，外国相关教育机构、高校中文师范专业/中文院系、国外有关中文教学行业组织、中国驻使（领）馆等推荐机构可推荐优秀学生和在职中文教师到中国大学学习和进修国际中文教育及相关专业，推荐机构详见http://cis.chinese.cn，申请者可以登录 http://cis.chinese.cn进行申请。

二、申请条件

招生对象为非中国籍人士，对华友好，无违法犯罪记录，遵守中国政府的法律、法规和学校的规章制度，身心健康，品学兼优，有志于从事中文教育、教学及相关工作，年龄为 16-35周岁（统一以 2024年 9月 1日计）。在职中文教师放宽至 45 周岁，本科奖学金申请者一般不超过 25 周岁。

2024 年 3 月1日起，申请者可登录国际中文教师奖学金报名网站（cis.chinese.cn）申请国际中文教师奖学金。

申请流程：

1．登录奖学金网站，查询推荐机构；

2．在线提交申请材料，关注申请进程、审核意见与奖学金评审结果；

3．奖学金获得者与我校确认办理来华留学手续，

4．按我校录取通知规定的时间入学报到。

五、申请截止日期（以北京时间为准）

1．2024年7月入学：学生申请截止日期为 4月15日

2．2024年9月入学：学生申请截止日期为 5 月15日

3．2024年12月入学：学生申请截止日期为9月15日

4．2025年3月入学：学生申请截止日期为10月31 日

中外语言交流合作中心委托专家组集中评审：根据 HSK、HSKK 考分和级别，兼顾国别等因素择优资助，于入学前约3个月完成奖学金评审工作，公布评审结果。

六、关于在职中文教师和汉语桥获奖者

1．在职中文教师

在职中文教师申请各类奖学金，可提供就职机构出具的在职证明和推荐信，同等条件下优先录取。

2．汉语桥获奖者

在各类汉语桥比赛中获得“国际中文教师奖学金证书”者，登录国际中文教师奖学金网站，凭奖学金证书向我校提交申请材料。

七、资助内容及标准

国际中文教师奖学金资助内容包括：学费、住宿费、生活费（四周研修生除外）和综合医疗保险费。

1．我校为学生提供校内宿舍，一般为双人间。

2．生活费按月发放。本科生、一学年和一学期研修生标准为2500 元人民币/月；国际中文教育专业硕士生为3000元人民币/月。

3．综合医疗保险费参照中国教育部来华留学有关规定执行，由我校统一购买。

八、申请材料

（一）与所有申请者有关的证明材料

1．护照照片页扫描件。

2．HSK、HSKK 成绩报告（有效期两年）扫描件。

3．推荐机构负责人的推荐信。

（二）与学历生有关的证明材料

4．提供最高学历证明（毕业预期证明）和在校学习成绩单。

5．国际中文教育专业硕士须提供两名副教授以上职称导师的推荐信。提供毕业后拟任教机构工作协议者优先资助。

（三）在职中文教师须附上就职机构出具的在职证明和推荐信。

（四）未满 18 周岁的申请者，须提交在华监护人署名的委托证明文件。

九、其他

1.一学期研修项目和一学年研修项目原则上不录取3年内享受过同类奖学金的申请者。

2.学历生须参加年度评审，详见《国际中文教师奖学金年度评审办法》。

3.入学体检不合格、中途退学及未经许可不按时报到、休学等情况，取消奖学金资格。

Application Guide for International Chinese Language Teachers Scholarship of Shenyang Normal University in 2024

I. Overview of the Scholarship

The International Chinese Language Teachers Scholarship (hereinafter referred to as the Scholarship) aims to facilitate Chinese language education in other countries. Confucius Institutes, independently operated Confucius Classrooms, certain HSK test centers, Chinese language (education) departments of foreign universities, professional associations for Chinese language instruction, Chinese embassies (consulates) abroad (hereinafter collectively referred to as “recommending institutions”) may recommend outstanding students and currently-employed Chinese language teachers for study of International Chinese Language Education or related majors at Chinese universities and colleges (hereinafter referred to as “host institutions”). The recommended institutions can be found at http://cis.chinese.cn, and applicants can apply at http://cis.chinese.cn.

II. Application requirements

a) Non-Chinese citizens;

b) Should be friendly to China, have no criminal record, and abide by the laws and regulations of the Chinese government and the rules and regulations of the school;

c) In good physical and mental conditions, and with a good record of academic performance and conduct;

d) Aspiring to work in the Chinese language education and related fields;

e) Aged between16 and 35 (as of 1 September, 2024), with the special allowance for the age limit of 45 for applicants currently working as Chinese language teachers and that of 25 for undergraduate student applicants.

Online registration will be available from 1 March, 2024 on the International Chinese Language Teachers Scholarship application website (cis.chinese.cn). Please log on to search for recommending institutions; upload application materials online; and track the application progress, comments and results. Scholarship holders need to confirm with the host institutions to go through the procedures of studying in China, print out the scholarship certificate online, and register at our university on the designated date as per the letter of admission.

V. Application Deadlines (Beijing Time)

a) For programs commencing in July, applicants must complete their applications before 15 April.

b) For programs commencing in September, applicants must complete their applications before 15 May.

c) For programs commencing in December, applicants must complete their applications before 15 September.

d) For programs commencing in March 2025, applicants must complete their applications before 31 October, 2024.

Decisions will be made based on HSK and HSKK scores and levels, and in consideration of country distribution as well as other factors. The results will be published about three months before school starts.

VI. Policies Regarding Currently Employed Chinese Language Teachers and Chinese Bridge Award Recipients

a) In-Service Chinese language teachers:

In-service Chinese language teachers need to provide proof of employment and a letter of recommendation from the employer, and will have priority in admission under the same conditions.

b) Chinese Bridge Winners:

Applicants who have received the International Chinese Language Teachers Scholarship Certificate during Chinese Bridge competitions may submit their application documents along with their scholarship certificates to our university directly at the International Chinese Language Teachers Scholarship website.

VII. Coverage and Criteria for International Chinese Language Teachers Scholarship

The Scholarship provides full coverage on tuition fees, accommodation fees, living allowance (four-week study students excluded) and comprehensive medical insurance expenses.

a) Our university provides students with the on-campus dormitories, usually for a double room.

b) Living allowance is granted by host institutions on a monthly basis. The monthly allowance for undergraduates, one-academic-year study students and one-semester students is 2,500 CNY per person. For students of Scholarship for Master’s Degree in International Chinese Language Education, the monthly allowance is 3,000 CNY per person.

c) Comprehensive medical insurance is purchased by our university in accordance with relevant regulations of studying in China stipulated by the Ministry of Education of China.

VIII. Application Documents

A. For all applicants:

a) A scanned copy of passport photo page;

b) A scanned copy of score reports of the HSK and HSKK tests (within the two-year validity);

c) A reference letter by the head of the recommending institutions;

B. For degree scholarship program applicants:

d) A certification of the highest education diploma (or proof of expected graduation) and an official transcript;

e) Applicants of the Scholarship for Master’s Degree in International Chinese Language Education are required to provide 2 reference letters from professors or associate professors. Priority will be given to applicants who may provide a work contract with a teaching institution upon completing their studies in China or a proof to the same effect.

C. Applicants currently working as Chinese language teachers shall provide proof of employment as well as a reference letter by the employer.

D. Applicants under the age of 18 shall provide certified documents of designation signed by their entrusted legal guardians in China.

IX. Others

a) In principle, applicants who have received a similar scholarship within three years are not eligible for the One-Semester Study Program or One-Year Study Program

b) Degree students are subject to the annual assessment according to the Annual Assessment Procedures of the International Chinese Language Teachers Scholarship.

c) Students who fail to pass the pre-enrollment medical examination, withdraw from school before completing the program, fail to register at the university without prior permission, or suspend their studies will be disqualified for the scholarship.
